Chairman of the LU 520 Executive Board
Brothers and Sisters,
Brother Chris Wagner met with the Executive Board on December 2, 2016 and tendered his resignation as Local 520 Business Manager/Financial Secretary, effective December 31, 2016.
Brother Wagner has accepted an appointment to serve the IBEW as International Representative for the 7th District, effective January 1, 2017.
The Executive Board will be interviewing members who wish to be considered for the upcoming vacant Business Manager/Financial Secretary position.
Interviews will be conducted on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Local 520 Executive Board room.
If you are interested in interviewing for the position, please contact Sherry Cluck or Mary Ygnacio at the Local 520 offices (512-326-9540) by 5:00 pm on December 7, 2016.

Journeyman/Masters Assisted Study Program (J/MASP)

New Member Orientation
There will be a New Member Orientation Class, Parts I & II, held on:
- Saturday December 17, 2016 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturday January 7, 2017 @ 9;00 am – 4:00 pm
Setting is limited to the first 40 registrants including their spouses for the Saturday session. Also since this will be an informative/educational meeting we ask that no children should attend. Please be sure to contact either Mary or myself if your spouse will be attending this class as well.

CW/CE’s completing this class will receive 120 SBC’s to aid in your advancement in the CW/CE Program. Apprentices participating in the Scholarship Program will receive credit when completed.
